It's a traditional duel between Firebenders. She challenged me to one. I accepted, and we fought until she tried shooting lightning at my friend. I intercepted, but could only redirect some of it. The rest was enough to do some serious damage, maybe even almost kill me. Katara trapped Azula and healed me.

[There's a short pause.] She's in a mental facility. She was losing her mind before the Agni Kai, and her defeat pushed her over the edge. I don't know why she was on the Barge, but she was from before the end of the war.

Katara wasn't a part of the Agni Kai. Azula attacked her because she knew I'd try to save her.

I guess. I thought Azula would be so focused on killing me, so she could be Fire Lord and get revenge, she wouldn't consider attacking Katara too. She was unstable. And I didn't realize Katara was that close, there was no way she could get out of the way in time. I know how to redirect lightning, I didn't want to watch my friend get killed by my sister, and so I intercepted it.

I don't care who stopped Azula. We're alive, and she's not in control. That's all that matters.

I know it's not fair. But you're not the only inmate in that position. People like Arthas [People who it's like lol they are never getting out of here. :|] seem like they're in the minority.
