Before I came here, the Avatar - my friend - was faced with the problem of wanting a nonviolent solution to a violent conflict. He was raised to believe that all life was sacred, and wanted to find another way to stop it, even though ending the threat permanently would restore peace and end a war that had.

I thought he was being naive. That violence was the only way to stop what was happening. But he found a solution that didn't end in murder while still eliminating the threat.

Obviously I don't know Howie or Sveta as well as I know my friend. But maybe that can work here, too.

... Does anyone need any assistance with what's going on?

If Sveta is to see an end to this curse, I believe it will be through the counsel of those who know her, and the Barge, well enough to help her find her way again. That is not a group into which either of us fit, and she may well see the talk of strangers as merely self-interested.

As it is, the facts are that nobody has yet reported any serious harm, and this ship is extremely resilient. The spread of panic is what is most dangerous, right now.

Continue to do what you are already doing so well, Zuko. Remain calm, and try to ease the fear and hatred of others.

I'm...not gonna try to do anything to Sveta. Though she'd deserve it if I stood in her room and let my powers smash stuff like they started doing in my room.

I'd have trouble feeling bad if someone put her on the Death Toll, though, I admit. I don't care what she thinks; I didn't deserve this. A lot of us didn't.
